This Spring: Get your Passport to Long Island Wineries

In Long Island, we’re lucky to have access to dozens of amazing vineyards. With the current Long Island Wine Country Spring Passport Promotion, May is the perfect time to set aside time to explore them. With  34 participating Winery Tasting Rooms, that’s a lot of delicious wine to taste!

How it works:

Obtain a Free Passport which entitles you to a complimentary tasting of a featured wine with the purchase of any in house tasting. Have your passport stamped by purchasing a minimum of one bottle of featured wine. Long Island Restaurant Week

It’s here again!  Time for your chance to revisit your favorites for a deal, or try out a new spot at a great price!  The bi-annual and award-winning Long Island Restaurant Week kicks off its Spring 2012 campaign on Sunday, April 22 for eight days ending on Sunday, April 29.  Participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe for $24.95 all night, every night they are open except Saturday when the menu must only be offered until 7 p.m.

Restaurants – spanning across Long Island’s 118 miles – are signing up daily to participate. Each will serve its own unique $24.95 menu with a minimum choice of three appetizers, three entrées and three desserts.

Long Island Restaurant Week also believes in the importance of helping neighbors facing hunger and will make a donation following the campaign to Island Harvest, Long Island’s largest hunger relief organization.

On February 3, the Long Island Restaurant Week mobile app was introduced and is available on the iPhone, Android and mobile web.  The direct link is http://airmo.co/lirestaurantweek.
