Extending Your Outdoor Party Season

Sadly, the summer is coming to an end.  We’ve all enjoyed the outdoor parties, BBQ’s, and nights lounging outside.  Why wait until next June to do it all over again?  It’s not too late to add a few items to your yard, and what better way to extend your outdoor party season than to set up an outdoor fire pit or fireplace.  Recently, I visited All Island Mason Supply in Kings Park, and they showed me an array of fireplaces and fire pit ideas.  There are finished products right on their property, so you can get an idea for what you may like and what it will look like when completed.  I have to admit: I didn’t imagine the full beauty or feel for them until seeing them in person.  I think it will completely transform your backyard.

Don’t worry if you think your yard is too small or it may cost too much; this type of project can be scaled to your property and budget.  You will be able to enjoy your backyard all year long with these cozy, comfortable and gorgeous additions.  (more…)
