The International Music Nights Summer Concert Series is presented by the Nassau County Department of Parks, Recreation and Museums in recognition of Nassau County’s unique ethnic diversity. One of my favorite holiday activities is driving around, looking at holiday lights. Everyone loves to see the decorations, whether they be simple and elegant or lavish and crazy! What better way to share that holiday cheer than with the 2011 Holiday Lights Contest!
The contest will run from December 1 through December 29, 2011. We’ll post the images of your holiday lights right here on the website as well as on our Facebook page, and the Nassau Happening readers will get to choose their favorite. The photo with the most “likes” on the Nassau Happening Facebook page by 11:59pm on December 29 will be named Nassau Happening’s Best Holiday Lights of Long Island 2011 and be awarded (more…)
