1. The Chocolate Lady, 49 Audrey Avenue, Oyster Bay

In addition the the large selection of freshly made gourmet chocolates in a variety of flavors, The Chocolate Lady will make you a homemade made to order hot chocolate when you come in.  Pair it with one of her specialty chocolates of the day, and you won’t mind walking back out to your car in the cold!

2. The Cupcake Corner, 61 New Hyde Park Road, Garden City

Yes, there are cupcakes galore here.  But what you may not have guessed is that they also have delicious hot chocolate!  Order a cup with brunch, lunch, homemade ice cream, a sundae, or another one of their homemade baked goods like cookies or belgian waffles.

3. The Witches Brew, 311 Hempstead Turnpike, West Hempstead

This funky, edgy cozy spot serves a large variety of specialty teas and hot chocolates.  Try one with ice cream, or even try their vegan version with vegan marshmallows!

4. Fresco Creperie, 150 A E. Park Avenue, Long Beach

Their hot chocolate and coffee drinks are the perfect match to their sweet and savory crepe selection.  Have one for a snack, one for dessert, and top it off with a large cup of melted goodness!

5. The Cup Coffeehouse, 3268 Railroad Avenue, Wantagh

Desserts, sandwiches, and local artists showing off their pieces (which change periodically) are the main draws of this popular coffeeshop, but be ready for a huge selection of teas, espressos, and hot chocolates.  Whether it be raspberry, mint, cherry, marshmallow, or pure chocolate, enjoy the rich chocolately flavor!
